Developing Mindfulness Ok so if you are like me and working on yourself, you've probably seen over and over again is to be mindful. Mindfulness involves having a deep sense of awareness and acceptance of our own thoughts, feelings and surroundings without judgement. People typically develop mindfulness through practices like meditation, deep breathing, and focusing on the present moment. Regular practice helps to strengthen mindfulness skills over time. The 11/11 portal is often seen as one of the most powerful days for manifestation, spiritual alignment, and personal transformation. In 2024, this gateway takes on added significance as it aligns with a growing collective focus on self-awareness and emotional intelligence. This makes today an ideal time for setting your intentions and releasing people, places, and things that are not serving your highest good. This year, the energy of the 11/11 portal is believed to enhance clarity, supporting us in aligning more fully with our true purpose and in trusting our intuition. This means the universe is supporting your manifestations. It also means this is an opportunity to connect with your higher self, letting go of any fears, doubts, or attachments that may be holding you back. This is a really good time for meditation, visualization, and journaling to focus on areas where you want growth, healing, or new opportunities. In the spiritual community, the 11/11 portal is seen as a time when t...
Attachment styles are patterns of behavior and beliefs that we develop in childhood based on our relationships with those who cared for us. Attachment styles significantly impact our daily lives by influencing how we relate to others and navigate relationships. Understanding the dynamics of each attachment style, can help foster more fulfilling and supportive connections in our everyday lives. There are typically four main attachment styles: Secure Attachment People with this style feel comfortable with intimacy and independence in relationships. They are able to express their needs well and trust their partners which leads to them finding relationships that are fulfilling. They feel secure when close to their partner, but also function well on their own. Points Of Importance Committed but independent Attentive, affectionate and accepting Able to handle and resolve conflict Anxious-Preoccupied Attachment People with this style often worry about their partne...
It's so easy to feel disconnected from our inner selves as we hustle along in our lives. Spiritual self-care is the gentle practice of reconnecting with your soul and nurturing your inner peace. These practices don't require a dramatic lifestyle change - just small, intentional actions that create a deeper sense of connection, purpose, and serenity. Spirituality is so very personal so I realize this list might not work for everybody but these, in my opinion, are easy to adopt and can help the development of soulful living. Start Your Day with Mindful Breathing Before reaching for your phone or diving into your to-do list, take a few moments to center yourself with mindful breathing.
